Lamb Production

In April, the Company continued to build the flock size, by acquiring 800 Dorper lambs from Gunnedah, Broken Hill and Nyngan. These ewes are in lamb and are scheduled to lamb in approximately 10 weeks. They are well-settled on site, and are gaining weight as scheduled.

Several ewes acquired in March have started to lamb, with 12 lambs born as of 30 April. More ewes are expected to lamb in the next few weeks.

There is a window of time when more ewes in lamb can be purchased in May. For the short term, this remains the Company’s preferred use of funds.
